Commissioned by Glen Thomas Architecture, this residential project sits within the wooded landscape of Barbadoes Hill above Tintern, in the Wye Valley. Our visualisation explored the meeting of the existing stone structure with its contemporary additions, weathered metal cladding, slender black steelwork, deep timber terraces and generous glazing. The images were developed around the house’s relationship with the steep, densely planted site, allowing the architecture to feel embedded in the landscape rather than placed upon it.
