Koru Retreat

Koru Retreat started years ago as an early resort study at Ömerler Architecture. It was one of the projects that stayed with me long after it was shelved. I came back to it recently with something the original never had: no brief, no client, no deadline. The old idea became a starting point rather than something to protect, and it led somewhere quieter, shaped around the lake, the trees and the changing light.
