Commissioned by Glen Thomas Architecture, Ochre House is a contemporary residence in Wales and a strong expression of the studio’s restrained architectural language.
The house is composed through clean horizontal planes, deep overhangs and generous areas of glazing, creating a quiet dialogue between solid and transparent surfaces. Terraces extend the architecture into the garden, while stone, glass and dark metal give the building a precise and minimal material character.
We developed both the interior and exterior visualisations, focusing on the clarity of Glen Thomas’s architecture and the relationship between space, landscape and light.
