RWU University

Commissioned by New York-based Architectura, the project forms part of Roger Williams University in Rhode Island, overlooking the waters of Mount Hope Bay.

The architecture is shaped around openness and its remarkable coastal setting, with generous glazing and deep covered terraces extending the university’s social spaces towards the water. Warm timber, glass and restrained detailing create a contemporary framework for gathering, studying and informal exchange.

We developed the visualisation series to capture the building as an active part of university life, architecture animated by people, changing light and the landscape beyond.
