Aragawa London

For Aragawa’s first London restaurant, we were commissioned to create a series of images translating the atmosphere of the legendary Tokyo institution to its new Mayfair home.

The visuals focus on the restaurant’s particular sense of restraint: dark timber, deep reds, precise pools of light and the intimacy of the dining room. Rather than presenting the space as a pristine interior, we wanted the images to feel already inhabited, quiet, ceremonial and slightly cinematic.
